Physical Description		Kate is a slim and attractive female, she apears to be human at first glance but looking closer you can see her Vulcan heritage. Her ears are slightly pointed but for the most part hidden by her hair which she always wears down on or off duty.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		Kate is no longer a friendly person, often remaining in the background and taking it in before acting. Having served in Starfleet for nearly sixty years and is not that bothered about rank or regulations any more but stays as its where she feels comfortable. Serving through the Dominion war Kate has had her fill of the front line but is still an able warrior when pushed.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Kate's passion and depth of feeling provide her with her core strength she always has the courage of her convictions and will stay the course. This can also be her greatest weakness as it can blind Her. A powerful intellect guides her actions. However since falling victim to a form of Elyshan mind control she has also developed an attitude of disdain towards most people.
Ambitions		Kates ambitions are simple, to keep going and not to lose Aa'rion again.
Hobbies & Interests		Kate enjoys target shooting and Traditional Martial arts and is a qualified instructor in Klingon mok'bara and Earth Akido. She has lost her love of travel but is still an avid reader, she now enjoys reading ancient myths and sombre poetry instead of the romantic novels she once devoured.

Personal History		Born on Earth 2292, her mother died of an extremley rare complication during child birth. Her family on Earth have always been supportive but her family on Vulcan look on her with disdain because of her mothers choice to marry a human. Growing up Kate spent her time between her family in Dublin, Paris and London leaving school with top grades. She enrolled at Starfleet medical at the age of 21 but left within the first year to see the stars, as a crewman. Gradualy working her way up the ranks Kate was always more concerned with learning new techniques and treating the sick than promotion. After a stint at the Academy as an instructor Kate is transfered to the USS Equal after three more years of service she decides to go for a commision. Kate returns to the academy and meet Aa'rion Anwamane. They soon begin seeing each other but keep the relationship from getting serious as they are waiting for their ship posting to be anounced. Against all odds they are posted to the same ship, the romance continues on serious level. A year and a half later they secretey get married on Mars in the famous Zen gardens. 2368 Kate's dad dies in a freak shuttle accident the same day as it is announced that the USS Equal will be decomisioned by the end of the year due to fleet cuts and its weak hull integrity. Kate decides to leave Starfleet and moving back to Earth seeing Aa'rion most days when he takes up a position in HQ but only twice a year when he is reassigned to the USS Vector. While back on earth Kate decides to Continue her training as a Doctor through a Starfleet Medical civillian fast track scheme. Due to her decades of medical experiance Kate qualifies as a junior Doctor in December 2370 2371 Kate decides to return to Starfleet to be with Aa'rion, using her contacts from over five decades of service she gets assigned to the Vector while Aa'rion is in the middle of a nine month stint with Starfleet Intelligence. Later that year Kate was able to pull a few more strings and upon the Vectors Captains retirement she had secured Aa'rion the acting captancy for the minimum of fourteen months with a view to promotion to full Captain at the earliest opourtunity. With the Dominion war in full swing Kate corners Aa'rion moments after the taking back of Deep Space Nine and asks him for a public wedding, he obliges and within hours they have a short Strafleet ceremony on the promenade before enjoying a few hours of repreive from their duties. After the Dominion war Kate and Aa'rion leave Starfleet and with the loss of the entire crew of the Vector they spend years apart, unable to face each other without the tormenting reminder of being the only survivours. 2376 Kate spends time on Vulcan getting to know her family there before returning to earth to practive medecine part time. She see's Aa'rion for a few months every three years. Until she decides to go back to what she has known for most of her life, Starfleet, she rejoins to find her purpose again without Aa'rions knowledge an old friend assigns her to the USS Pioneer with Aa'rion who had also just rejoined without her knowledge. After the Pioneers apparent destrucion she rejoins many of the old faces on the Frontier until the Elyshans turn her and her husband against the crewq with a form of mind control. Months of recovery with Starfleet medical and a forced transfer to Starfleet intelligence Kate and Aa'rion follow, eventualy they were allowed to be posted back to the Frontier.
Service Record		2313 - Joins Starfleet Medical 2314 - leaves Starfleet medical early and is assigned to the Excelsior class starship the USS Herth as a medicaly enlisted crewman 2316 - Promoted to Crewman 2nd class 2317 - Promoted to Crewman 3rd class 2319 - Promoted to Petty officer 3rd class 2320 - Promoted to Petty officer 2nd class, later on awarded the Starfleet Palm leaf of peace for her key part in a peace envoy 2321 - promoted to Petty officer 1st class in recognition of her efforts in the recent peace mission 2323 - Promoted to Chief Petty officer and put in charge of the medical response unit's 2327 - Promoted to Senior Chief petty officer 2332 - Promoted to Master Chief Petty officer 2335 - Promoted to Warrant officer and given the Starfleet Award for Valor for her integral part in an away mission to Sendrak 5 2339 - Received the Tolley Citation for original thinking. 2343 - Promoted to Chief warrant officer 1st class and Transferred off the USS Herth and back to Starfleet Medical as an instructor. 2348 - Transfered to the Ambassador class starship the USS Equal. 2354 - Takes a two year teaching position as an instructor at Starfleet Academy 2357 - Sent to the academy to get a full commision. 2360 - Graduates and transfers back aboard the Equal 2362 - Promoted to Lieutenant Junior grade 2363 - Awarded the Star Cross for her leadership when her medical team was stranded after their shuttle crashed on an uncharted world. 2366 - Promoted to full Lieutenant 2368 - The USS Equal is decomissioned and Kate leaves Starfleet. Continuing her training as a Doctor through a Starfleet Medical civillian fast track scheme 2371 - Kate rejoins Starfleet and is posted to the Akira class starship the USS Vector as a Medical officer and given the rank of Lieutenant Junior grade. 2373 - Kate was awarded the Starfleet Surgeons Decoration and promoted to Full Lieutenant, for her treatment injured crewmen during the Borg attack in sector 001 2373 - [The Dominion war] --- Details Restricted --- Seventh Fleet assault on the Torros III shipyards the U.S.S. Vector loses 15% of its crew. Kate Promoted to Lieutenent commander and made head of the Medical Department. December 2374 - First Battle of Chin'toka, awarded the Starfleet Citation for Gallantry for her actions. January 2375 - Promoted to Commander July 6th-September 12th 2375 - Rceives the Starfleet Medal of Excellence September 21st 2375 - On DS9 Kate along with the rest of the crew are awarded the Starfleet Silver Palm as well as an Extended Tour Ribbon . 2375 November - The final assault on Cardassia, Kate and Aa'rion Anwamane only surviviours. 22nd February 2326 - Assigned along with the surviving crew of the Vector to its sister ship the U.S.S. Vort. May 27th 2375 - Back in Star dock Kate resigns without any notice. 2383 - Kate rejoins Starfleet as an Ensign. 2384 - Assigned to USS Pioneer as a nurse. After the USS Pioneer was destroyed Kate transferred to the USS Frontier as the Morale officer. 2385 - Promoted to LT JG whilst on assignment with the Intelligence corps, re-assigned to the USS Frontier again shortly after.
