Mission Notes, Upgrades, and More!

Greetings All!

First, I would like to thank Ensign Forest for his news post earlier. I, too, am finding it hard to believe that a month has already passed since our family was reunited on board the Frontier :-) You\'ve all done amazing, and I am very proud of you all! Thank you for making this SIMM a success :-)

Second, I\'ve just finished installing a minor update to SMS. We are now running 2.5.1, which should fix a few of the bugs that came with 2.5, so thanks a ton to the hard working people over at Anodyne.

Third, I\'m going to try and get some new skins done over the weekend. Specifically, I\'d like to update the old Cardassian, Romulan, and Dominion skins to work with the new system, although making the necessary changes to the site\'s coding so that the font colors and buttons all match may be a bit too labor intensive, so we\'ll see. Ideally, I\'d LOVE to have skins devoted to each department, but that\'s actually a lot harder to pull off than simple space-based skins. Anyways, keep checking back for updates, and be sure to let me know if there are any in particular you\'d like to see :-)

Lastly, we have just entered the Necro Expanse, so posts should now take place at night on MD-02. Be sure to submit a post or two (either Mission Post or Personal Log) to advance your character\'s story a little bit while we traverse this dark, starless region of unexplored space. Contact me if you\'d like some plot-specific info to include in a mission post. At some point next week we\'ll advance to MD-03, at which point things will really start to get interesting...
